Indian leader Elouise Cobell dies

Elouise Cobell, who spearheaded a legal campaign that resulted in a historic multi-billion settlement on behalf of Native Americans, has died.
MT State Senator Shannon Augare (D-Browning) shared the following message via his Twitter account on Sunday evening: “A great woman and Blackfeet warrior passed away a few minutes ago. Eloise Cobell’s work and legacy will be remembered and honored.”
