 Elouise to Speak with Individual IndianMoney account holders.
FARMINGTON, NEW MEXICO: Elouise Cobell, the lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit against the
Department of Interior, is coming to Huerfano to speak with Individual Indian
Money account holders.

Cobell will be providing updates and answer questions on the court case, the
continuing delay by the Department of the Interior to make royalty payments
and other recent developments pertaining to the lawsuit.

Ervin Chavez, president of the Shii Shi Keyah (My Land) Allottees
Association, along with the Navajo Nation, is sponsoring the forum. Navajo
Nation Council Speaker Ed T. Begay will also be in attendance. The meeting
will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Huerfano Chapter House. All
are welcome. The Navajo Nation is the first stop in a series of public
outreach forums designed to inform Indian Money account holders and others.
